- Open ADUC
- Select the OU to be delegated
- Right-click, select Delegate Control
- In Users or Groups select the users to be assigned delegation
- Select the appropriate tasks in this case ‘Reset password’ in Tasks to Delegate
- Finish
To check the permissions after delegation
- Check Advanced Features is enabled from View > Advanced Features
- Right-click the OU and select Properties
- In Security > Advanced you should see the delegated permissions in the Access column
